1. OVERVIEW

This website is operated by The Frosting Room. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to The Frosting Room. By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”).

2. ELIGIBILITY & REGISTRATION

By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store.

 

3. PRODUCTS & PRICING

  • Handmade Nature: All our products (Chocolate Strawberries, Truffles, Hampers) are handcrafted. Variations in appearance, size, and color are natural and shall not be deemed as defects.

  • Pricing: Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. Our corporate sets are priced based on a minimum order quantity (MOQ) of 20 units.

  • Availability: We reserve the right to limit the sales of our products to any person or geographic region (currently restricted to Mumbai).

4. SHIPPING & DELIVERY (MUMBAI ONLY)

  • Service Area: We ship exclusively within the municipal limits of Mumbai.

  • Same-Day Delivery: Orders placed before 12:00 PM IST are eligible for same-day delivery. Orders after this time will be dispatched the following day.

  • Delivery Attempts: Since our products are highly perishable, we make only one delivery attempt. If the recipient is unavailable, the order will be returned to our studio, and a re-delivery fee will be applicable.

  • Local Pickup: If you select 'Local Pickup', you must collect your order from our Mumbai studio within the designated time slot.

5. NO CANCELLATION & NO REFUND POLICY

Due to the perishable nature and hygiene standards of our food products:

  • Final Sale: All orders are final. We do not offer returns, refunds, or exchanges for change of mind or taste preference.

  • No Cancellations: Once an order is placed, it enters our production cycle immediately. We do not accept cancellation requests.

6. FSSAI & HYGIENE COMPLIANCE

The Frosting Room operates in compliance with the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 (FSSAI). We maintain the highest standards of hygiene during the preparation and packaging of our handmade treats.

7. ACCURACY OF BILLING & PAYMENT

We use Razorpay/Cashfree as our third-party payment processor. By confirming your purchase, you agree to pay the total amount specified. We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Frosting Room shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the consumption of our products if they were not stored or handled as per the instructions provided (e.g., lack of refrigeration for chocolate strawberries).

9. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, with jurisdiction specifically in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
